लन्डन । गैर आवासीय नेपाली संघ (एनआरएनए) युकेका अध्यक्ष योग कुमार फगामीले आगामी १४ सेप्टेम्वर हुने निर्वाचनको लागि उम्मेदवारी दर्ता गरे पछि अध्यक्षका प्रत्यासी शेर सुनार समुह विरोधमा उत्रिएको छ ।

कतिपयले फगामीले एनआरएन केन्द्रिय विधानको मिचेको समेत आरोप लगाएका छन् । वर्तमान अध्यक्ष केन्द्रीय समितिको सदस्य बन्ने परम्परा भए पनि फगामीको नाम पुनम गुरुङको समुहमा देखि पछि सुनार समुह विरोधमा उत्रिएको हो ।
फगामीले कार्यसमितिको निर्णयको निर्णय बमोजिम सदस्यता भेरिफिकेशन गरे पनि निर्वाचन समितिले सबै जिम्मेवारी समाले पछि मात्र आफ्नो उम्मेदवारी घोषणा गरेका थिए ।

यसै बीच गैरआवासीय नेपाली संघ (एनआरएनए) ले फगामीको उम्मेदवारी वैधानिक भएको स्पष्ट पारेको छ । संघका महासचिव डा. बद्री केसीले एक पत्र जारी गर्दै एनसीसी अध्यक्ष आइसीसी सदस्यमा उम्मेदवार बन्न पाउने र दैनिक कार्यहरु नियमित रुपमा संचालन गर्न पाउने उल्लेख गरेका छन् ।

As per the Constitution, and NRNA bylaws and common practises, here are the explanation.

1.       The acting President can be the Candidate for the coming election in NCC and ICC and can and have to conduct the day to day function of NCC in full phase.

2.       All the Election related activities will be conducted by Election Committee and there is not any Conflict of Interest.

3.       After conducting the election, the newly elected President will be President- Elect. From the completion of election to the oath taking period (there may be time gap), the Previous President will be just take carer one and can not take any strategical decision.
