Three heavyweight election candidates, who are running from Jhapa constituencies, failed to vote for themselves, as they are registered in the voters name list outside the district. Around 1,000 under police control on charge of attempting to spoil polls

Kathmandu, Dec 6 (RSS):The Nepal Police have taken around one thousand people under control on the accusation of attempting to spoil the election atmosphere. So far a total of 957 people have been arrested from different parts of the country on the charge of attacking on political leaders, candidates and cadres. Ambassador Subedi inaugurated the Nepali garden in Edinburgh

Amid a bagpiper music, ambassador of Nepal to the United Kingdom, Dr Durga Bahadur Subedi, inaugurated the Nepali Garden in the sprawling Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh (RBGE). Nepalis in UK provide financial assistance for flood victims

(RSS): The Nepalis in the United Kingdom have provided financial assistance worth Rs 132,125 for the relief operation to the flood survivors in Terai. The amount was collected through a fundraising campaign launched in the UK initiative of Birkaji Gurung of Sundari Bazar in Lekhnath Municiplaity-26 in Pokhara. The Nepalis in the UK sent the financial assistance through a network named Friends and Forever Group. Network’s member Devan Gurung handed over the amount to media person with Ravi Lamicchane for him to get the aid to the targeted group.
